HONORING THE MEMORY OF MARTIN LUTHER KING JR

Each year on the third Monday in January, we observe Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and honor this incredible man’s work. We also take the opportunity to reflect on the work that still needs to be done regarding racial equality. This day was established in 1983 by Ronald Reagan to honor King and other civil rights activists and the strides they made toward racial justice. This year, let’s make the holiday more than just a day off and take time to reflect on global civil rights issues and take action to promote justice.
