Eating a diet low in fat and rich in fruits, vegetables and whole grains can pay benefits not only to your heart but to your eyes. The connection isn’t surprising: your eyes rely on tiny arteries for oxygen and nutrients, just as the heart relies on much larger arteries. Keeping those arteries healthy will help your eyes.

What Is Heterochromia?
Not two irises are alike, including the irises of identical twins and even the two irises of the same individual. This uniqueness of the human iris is used in iris scans, similar to fingerprints. The variation of iris pigmentation is caused by its complex structure and coloring pattern. A striking example of the dissimilarity of the iris in one person are people with heterochromia.

Ramadan Mubarak!
We know that many Muslims stop taking eye drops during Ramadan believing it to be a liquid that is absorbed by the stomach immediately. It is imperative that anyone diagnosed with glaucoma continues to take their eye drops as prescribed. Simply block the tear duct with a finger for one minute and the liquid will be absorbed. Failure to do so can result in damaging your sight further. Please share this with friends and followers.
